Joseph V. Battipaglia

Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Battipaglia is Market Strategist for the Private Client Group of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated and Chief Investment Officer of Washington Crossing Advisors. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College and earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Stifel in 2007, Mr. Battipaglia was Chief Investment Officer at Ryan Beck & Co. and Chief Investment Strategist at Gruntal & Co., LLC. Earlier in his career, Mr. Battipaglia was a financial analyst for the Exxon Corporation and a securities generalist at Elkins & Co., a division of Prudential Bache. Mr. Battipaglia is featured frequently in national media and is a former trustee of the Securities Industry Institute.

Kevin R. Caron

Portfolio Manager

With over fifteen years of experience, Mr. Caron serves as a portfolio manager for Stifel Nicolaus' Washington Crossing Advisors program. Mr. Caron began his career in 1992 in the research department at Gruntal & Co., L.L.C. and later served as a buy-side analyst and market strategist for Ryan Beck & Co. Mr. Caron is skilled in quantitative modeling and systems development and is responsible for designing many of the models and systems used in implementing WCA's bottom-up and top-down trading strategies. In 1991, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Seton Hall University, where he majored in Economics. Mr. Caron routinely comments for a variety of local and nationally syndicated media outlets, notably CNBC, Fox, Bloomberg, and Dow Jones.

Chad A. Morganlander

Portfolio Manager

During the last fifteen years, Mr. Morganlander has developed an extensive knowledge of financial markets, economic conditions, and investment strategies. His investment industry career began in 1992 at Lehman Brothers. He is currently responsible for research and portfolio management at Stifel Nicolaus' Washington Crossing Advisors. Before his current tenure, he worked as an analyst for an investment management division of Gruntal & Co., L.L.C., where he focused on the analysis of debt and equity securities. His approach to portfolio construction is uncomplicated and emphasizes applying quantitative disciplines to determining risk and company value. Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance and International Business from Ramapo College.
