Washington Crossing Advisors is an
investment advisory program offered via the
Stifel Core Portfolios Program (S|Core). The
Washington Crossing Advisors group is led by
Joseph V. Battipaglia, Kevin R. Caron, and
Chad A. Morganlander, who are responsible for
the CONQUEST and VICTORY investment
strategies. The team has worked
together successfully to help investors
build wealth for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Stifel, the group provided
macro-level investment strategy and guidance
on asset allocation, financial markets, and
economics to Ryan Beck & Company's network
of financial consultants. Prior to
Ryan Beck, the group held a variety of roles
as strategists, portfolio managers, analysts,
and financial consultants for Gruntal & Co.,
LLC. Collectively, the group has over
50 years of combined investment experience
as research analysts, strategists, and
portfolio managers. The group also
offers advice and guidance to Stifel's
financial advisors and clients through
the firm's Private Client Group.
The senior member of the WCA team is
Joseph V. Battipaglia. Joe
graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College
and earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton
Graduate School of Business, University of
Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Stifel in
2007, Mr. Battipaglia was Chief Investment
Officer at Ryan Beck & Co. and Chief
Investment Strategist at Gruntal & Co., LLC.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Battipaglia was a
financial analyst for the Exxon Corporation
and a securities generalist at Elkins & Co.,
a division of Prudential Bache. Mr.
Battipaglia is featured frequently in
national media and is a former trustee of
the Securities Industry Institute.
